Phase 1
- Discovery Call to determine scope of work and ensure that you are receiving the appropriate level of service.
- Initial consultation to discuss design ideas, take pictures and measurements
- Mood board + contracts: We present you with a mood board that represents the design direction discussed during your consultation to ensure that both designer and client are moving in the same design direction. You will receive a detailed contract outflinging the scope of your project and all associated design fees.
Phase 2
- Design Time: We get to work designing your space. Depending on the scope of project and agreed upon phases, times may vary, but typically you can rely on a 2 week turnaround. We don’t double book clients in the design phase in order to focus solely on your project and ensure you are getting the time and attention you are investing in.
- Design Presentation: We meet to present your design. We will share samples, images, floorplans, and necessary renderings and a cost breakdown. Once you have signed off on the agreed upon selections we get to it!
Phase 3
- Trade Quotes: we meet with your selected GC or trades to get quotes based on the agreed upon design and ensure that your design is executed per plan.

It is important to remember that many factors are considered in determining a budget for your space, such as size, function, age of inhabitants, pets or not, design style, existing pieces, and so on. The sample budgets are broken down as follows: High End, Mid-Range, Affordable, and Retail. The budgets reflect cost of goods + freight charges, but not design fees or trade work. At JB Sides Design we source from quality trade vendors, as often as possible, which benefits our clients with a savings of off retail and allows us to put personalized, customized, and unique items in each of the homes we design so that your space is exclusively yours.

Your main living space is where your family + friends gather, you relax at the end of the day, and most likely where everyone in the family spends most of their time. Since this is usually the largest and most frequently used space in your home, the furniture in the space should be durable, long lasting, and comfortable.

Dining Room
The largest part of your budget will go towards the table and chairs. Given that a dining room typically seats a large party and tends to be more formal, a large table and multiple chairs can become costly, particularly in conjunction with large, fabulous lighting. Primary Bedroom

You will receive professional design advice for your spaces during our time together and following our consultation you will receive a detailed document outlining our discussion, given design suggestions, chosen colors or finishes, and recommended sources in order to implement all suggestions and recommendations.
